I have been struggling trying to find a good list of internet radio stations that will stream directly to the Windows Media Player. Was wondering if anyone could share their internet radio URLs.

Wish that MusicMatch radio worked with the media player. They seem to have the best stations and the wife loves them.

What kind of music do you like?

I am trying to get a list of various stations so that depending on the wife's mode, she can play whatever she wants.

In general though, easy listening, soft rock, top hits.

Thanks

Does the Radio Tuner button and page you get when you launch WMP9 directly not give you anything to your liking? There's quite a bit there.. maybe too much?

Doesn't Media Player itself have a bunch of radiostations listed?

Did you read my thread on the subject: Internet Radio - how to?

There are some great tips in there. What kind of streams does MusicMatch play? You could probably get them to work in HSWMPPI if you follow my tips.

As for a list of radio stations, try these:

Radio Locator [formerly MIT Radio List]
Warp Radio
Live 365 I have been able to get their streams into the HSWMPPI so you don't have to go their web site all the time...
MoonTaxi Haven't used this one personally, but I know several people that listen regularly.
RadioTower Just came across this one, haven't used it, but it looks promising.

Hope all this helps! Let me know if you have any questions...

pressplay (soon to be Napster 2.0) has some really nice "stations." Actually, they're not stations at all, but a playlist of streamable wma's (license encoded, so you can't burn them without an additional charge... sigh). You can dload the wma's, though, and play them as long as you remain a pressplayer member. I think it's like $10 a month for the service, with unlimited dloading and streaming. I'm working on some scripts to interface temporarily at least the "stations" until Napster 2 comes out, then I hope to work on an actual plugin. It's not free, but I've felt it was WELL worth my $10 a month. http://ubb.homeseer.com/infopop/emot...icon_smile.gif

http://www.replay-radio.com

It records particular shows or stations off of the internet automatically and saves them as MP3.

Great for talk radio junkies.

ATTNV Crystal 16

NetCallerID with WAF script (So far so good...)
