Circles Wow! - Power Curtain Rail - REALLY affordable

Hey Guys,

Check this out! This company offers motorized blind, rolling shade and vertical blind control. The thing that makes this nice is that the pricing seems really affordable.

If you have used these in the past, can you please post your experience and how you liked/disliked the integration and how HS has been able to work with it?

Thoughts?

Anyone have any thoughts on this? What are you using for shade control?

First thoughts - $216.00 per window for the Z-Wave controller alone, not counting the "Motor kit" for the curtains?
A quick look shows another ~200.00 for the motor kit.

So, a minimum of 400.00 per window to automate each of my windows if I figure this right. Not sure that's something I would consider.

I was going down this path and am just amazed at how expensive this stuff is.

Until I realized I have two Hunter Douglass blinds on windows that are on windows that are on the upper half of my two story family room - and they were both well under $500 - I think more like $450 including tax. They are motorized and controlled by IR. I currently use rechargeable batteries in them and have to change the batteries every year and a half or so, but they can be hard wired to a permanent DC source if desired.

So I think I'm going to get an IR controller that HomeSeer can control and experiment with that. If it works reliably enough on the ones I have, I may get two more for my lower windows in my living room and take it from there.
