Very nice car, a real wolf in sheep's clothing but I have never "got" the Audi thing... a bit grey for me.
My choice was between the XKR or an M5, and having had several BMW's before and having always loved the shape of the XKR, just had to have one. Its a real classic and turns heads *everywhere* you go. I have never had a car that makes strangers come up to you in the street or at petrol stations and say "nice car"!
I would never buy new, I always go for something that has taken the initial depreciation hit and buy a premium model/marque. My last new car was probably in 1996, and since then came out of the company car scheme.
Are you going to get it on the track to learn how to drive it?

OK, another suggestion for a venue for our next meeting.
The Railway Bridge.
No don't PANIC.
I am not suggesting that we wander out onto the Forth Bridge and have our meeting there, it's still a bit cold and Windy for things like that - especially at out age. I am referring to the Railway Bridge Bistro or bar. It is located on the esplanade overlooking the Forth and of course The Bridge. I is modern with reasonable priced food - reservation essential, so I would need to know numbers if we go for it.
No problem parking, you can park on the esplanade in front of the building, and if it's stormy have your car washed while you dine!

OK, we still up for this Friday?
I need a rough idea regarding numbers attending, and presume we are still going for 1900 Hrs.
In my original post regarding this venue I called it The railway Bridge, it's not, it's The Rail Bridge.

David,
At this meeting you were saying that you use another method to check on the CM12, was it Fuego's Watchdog?
If it is a couple of questions.
1. You interogate a TM13, I have mine set to HC "P", what Unit code should I use?
2. If it finds the CM is not responding what action do you take?
Cheers,

Hi Gogs
It was Fuego's approach I was playing with.
I would need to check re setup/event.
One thing to watch is that the P code with 1, usually means that it will respond to all house codes incomming with RF.... which may not be what you want...
