HomeSeer Announces HomeTroller-SE™ Home Automation Controller

Bedford, NH – HomeSeer Technologies unveils its new HomeTroller-SE™ home automation controller this week. The new controller is an extremely compact, powerful gateway device that offers remote home control using the latest Apple® and Android® smart phones, tablet PCs and other devices.

Although small in stature, HomeTroller-SE is big on features. As with other HomeTroller models, HomeTroller-SE features an all solid-state design that supports Z-Wave® and many other industry standard home automation technologies. Unlike other competing gateway units, HomeTroller-SE supports voice control and can issue alerts, announcements and reminders by email, text message or by voice (text to speech). Integration interfaces are available for use with lighting, climate control, security, telephone, audio-video and energy management hardware.

“Our original HomeTroller set the standard for consumer ready home automation controllers 4 years ago. Our new HomeTroller-SE builds on that legacy with even greater reliability and at half the cost!” notes Mark Colegrove, HomeSeer’s director of sales.

HomeTroller-SE is slated to begin shipping in June 2011.
