Default Status field is unchanged

Using ver. Standard Edition 2.3.0.117

I set up and event to write to status so web page would show a value more accurate than On or OFF

panel dimmed # but now I can not remove it or reset it to ON or OFF

I thought that setting a status displayed value would help define better the activity of device ( maybe even a pending change as a process runs and completes) but could not get this to reflect my configuration.

It reads;

panel dimmed Interior Hallway Downstairs Front Lamp G2 G2 Today 2:19:43 PM

How can I get it to reflect a simple ON & OFF ??

Thanks.

If you are asking how to set it back to default your can urun this script using the Control link, Immediate Script Command:
&hs.setDeviceString "A1", clear

You could also try the immediate script, &hs.SetDeviceString "G2", ""

I've had to reset a device string back to the default a few times for devices I was going to re-use. I've notice that after you reset it, using the "&hs.setDeviceString "A1", clear" command, it sometimes doesn't take effect until you turn the device off and on a few times manually.
