Default z-wave h02 appliance module not working

Ok so i got some z-wave stuff a while back from ebay...
well now im starting to set them up... and viola... one not working..

weird.. I cant turn it on from the ha07c that I have... I can turn it off....

so manually turn it on.... then use controller to turn it off...

guessing it is bad... also guessing since I bought it a while ago on ebay.. not under warranty?

anyone know who for me to check with?

I'd contact Intermatic directly. They were pretty good to me in a similar situation.

TeleFragger,

Two weeks ago I sent 11 Intermatic modules back. (9 plugin dimmers, some dead and some with weak signals, 1 Outdoor relay and 1 wall switch dimmer)

The weak signal problem was that they would not delete from and add back to my Z-Troller. In addition, during an optimization or just sending on/off command HomeSeer would complain that it did not get a response back from module.

I had receipts for most of them, but not all and included what receipts I had in the box.

The following week, November 2, I received 3 emails stating that all of the module’s date codes were within the 6-year manufacturing time and would be replaced under warranty.

So you might just send them back and see what they say. I registered at the Intermatic Warranty claims website, but I did not register the devices. I just mailed a box with the modules, information and the few receipts in it.

I just check the status of the claim and the two individual modules have been processed but waiting on the 9 dimmers to complete processing to ship altogether. Out of the 9 dimmers I had receipts for 5 of them. I did have a receipt for the Outdoor relay and Wall switch dimmer.

Guess I will call them again next week to check on that. I will try to give you an update.

There are notes about the date codes “customer sent in (5) 44Z (3) 36Z and (1) 38Z, customer sent in date code off unit is 01Z, customer sent in with a date code of 37Z Please ship with order number xxxxxx and xxxxxx Thank you.”

Hope this will help you.
Rick
