Default Automatic polling z-wave?

Hello,
homeseer works fine with my düwi-switches. But if I e.g. put the lights manual off, homework says, that the lamp is on. If I press the polling-button in Homeseer, the status is changing.
Can Homeseer make this automatic?
(Sorry for my bad english).

With greetings from germany

I believe that you can go to the device properties of the switch that you want to know the status of and set HS to poll the device every x seconds. It won't give you instant status updates, but if you set it around 10 to 30 seconds you will then let HS know the status of the device.

Hope that helps.

Default Thanks - but how can I make this?

Do you know, how i can "say" my switch to send the status in homeseer? In the "Action List" is no entry with polling or something.

Best regards
Uwe

If the switch supports association, you can associate it to the controller node (Homeseer) and it will send status changes. This is about 99 & 44/100% reliable with my Intermatic switches. Just click on the device name on the status page. If the switch supports it, there'll be an option there. It's fairly self explanatory.

Automate everything, modify the rest... but remember... For every action, there is an equal and unexpected reaction.

Hello,
I did the association between the dimmer switch and homeseer. But If I change the lightpower with the wall-switch, homeseer does not know it - until I press the button polling.

Is there no way to say Homeseer "autopolling"? Perhaps with a script?

Best regards

If you go to the Status page and click on the name of your z-wave device, it will then show some configuration options for that particular device.

There is an option listed as follows:

Poll device for status every # seconds (0=no poll):
