Default 2.4.0.2 several gifs missing?

I used the HS updater to update from 2.4.0.1 to 2.4.0.2 and started getting a lot of:

11/27/2009 7:34:19 AM Error Web Server Error 404, cannot serve file: C:\Program Files\HomeSeer 2\html/images/HomeSeer/butAddInfo.gif

11/27/2009 7:34:19 AM Error Web Server Error 404, cannot serve file: C:\Program Files\HomeSeer 2\html/images/HomeSeer/butConfiguration.gif

11/27/2009 7:34:19 AM Error Web Server Error 404, cannot serve file: C:\Program Files\HomeSeer 2\html/images/HomeSeer/butOptions.gif

are these gifs around anywhere?

thanks

ken

edit added: no rush, I went back to 2.4.0.1

I do not have thes images in my setup. I am also not receiving any errors concerning these images.

I am on HomeSeer version 2.4.01 if that helps.

Did you try a repair of your HS install to see if they are replaced?

I see the same thing ... happened immediately after the 2.4.2 update.

I think this got addressed in the HS 2.4 release thread ;

Not a big deal, everything works, it just looks different with a link instead of a button.

Default Are you going to post the Gifs or do update ?

Have the same problem as mentioned above after update to 2.4.0.2.
Are you going to post the files ? - we can just copy them to the location.

Thanks
Bruce

I had a fresh install of 2.4.0.1 - No real problems with missing files.

After installing 2.4.0.2 from the updater - these three files are missing. They are referenced on most device configuration screens. The alternate texts for the buttons are: "Display Configuration Settings for 'device'", "Display Options for 'Device'", and "Display Additional Information for 'device'".

Somehow these just didn't make it into the update. Until there's a new update, somebody needs to throw these guys into a zip and post 'em.

Here are 2 work arounds until these images are added to the update installer.
- If you never ran the installer on this PC, backup your current HS folder, run the full installer, then copy back over your files to the same folder.
- Run the full installer on another PC and copy the missing gifs over from that install if you have a spare pc.

Instead of all that nonsense, why doesn't someone who has them just post the files here for the rest of us, please?

Nick

That's a good idea too Hopefully Rich will get a build released with these images in it as well.

The icons are posted in message #304 in the HomeSeer HS2™ Specific thread. Just in case someone missed it.
