    Wall switch w/status

I remember once seeing a x10 wall switch that reports its status.
Like if it is manually switched on or off.
I have looked all over and now can not find them.
I am now using the WS467 switches. They only have 2 wires on the back.
The status reporting ones, I think, have 3 wires on the back.
Anyone know what switches I am talking about?

    Thanks,
    Tim

The only two way switches that I know of are the Insteon switches that are X10 capable.

The only transmitting switch-like X10 device I'm aware of that's still on the market is the 4-button keypad, but it still needs a receiver, although that could be wired in-line.

None of the wall switches made by X10 are 2-Way. Smarthome had a few "SwitchLincs" that did transmit status. However none of the Smarthome/Insteon products support X10 any more.

The Smarthome 2380 transmitted status and I found one on Ebay

The switch is a three wire switch (Line, Load, and a Neutral ). You need a neutral in the wall box.

        They are becoming rare.

This isn't correct. I just installed 12 of the Switchlink Dimmers - INSTEON 2477D switches for a neighbor and programmed X10 address in all of them.

              Thanks,
I remember reading a year or so ago, that Smarthome was dumping X10 support. The specs on web catalog page does not list X10 capabilities under "Operational Mode", where they once did, so I thought they had made good on their announcement.

              This is good news.
