I am using a Remotec ZXT120 IR extender to control my Daikin AC. It works fine, I can control all functions. But I cannot get any status from the device. The reason is even with the mode set to off, If I send a fan on command, the AC comes on, so status of the fan mode is on. To turn the fan off, I have to send a AC mode off command, which turns the AC off. But the mode doesn't change and stays off, and the fan mode stays on 'on'. So on the actual device nothing changes, and trying to trigger events based on changes of the AC mode or fan mode do not trigger as the state doesn't change.
Any ideas of how I can see the 'real' status, and/or trigger events ?
