    should that be device 11 or device 1, I only have one screen.
    The more i go over the PDF, it seems that a whole bunch of Virtual devices should have been created. But they were not. The "K1" made no difference.

      yes, device 1 not 11

      Yes, it should create the virtual devices. I'm not sure why it has not worked for you.

          I'm sure you are about to retire for the night but try one last thing.

          Delete the ini file and get a fresh one from the download zip.

          Delete any virtual devices that you have created.

          Replace the [Device1] entry in the fresh copy with the following:

          [Device1]
          Housecode="S1"
          Name="Kitchen"
          Type=
          IPAddress="192.168.100.16"
          MACAddress="00-1D-09-81-BA-5D"
          Pagecheckstring=
          HostRes="0"
          Port=
          PingTimeout=125
          VDButtons="1"
          Iconset=28
          UseClient=1
          ClientHousecode="K1"
          ClientPort=8001
          ClientVDButtons="2,3,4,5,+11,6,7,8,+9,10"
          ClientPingCheck="0"

          Run the script with the following optional Parameters:

          ("clientstatus","")

          Hopefully that will set everything up correctly.

          Then run the monitor off call.

              no luck. The only VD being created is the S1 with "WOL" as it's function.

                    Can you post the values under [Device1Data]?

                    It looks like it is not reading the following 3 values correctly which should be valid time/date strings:

                    PingLastdowntime=
                    ClientLastUptime=
                    ClientLastdowntime=

                      Here you go... I am wondering if this is a firewall issue?

                        Copy the date/times under PingLastUptime and PingLastDowntime to ClientLastUpTime and ClientLastDowntime. Then run the script. Does it error?

                            The client is still not sending update info though so there is still a problem.

                              The error would not have affected sending the command to the client. I thought you stated in an earlier post that it was working?

                              The buttons on the device K1 should work?

                                I can send commands to the client and they work, but the client does not seem to be sending updates back to the server. This is why those dates were missing.
