Trying to control X10 UM506

Hi,

I am trying to control an X10 UM506 module from HS3 but when I control the device in HS3 is does not work. I am using the TI103 interface. If I remove the TI103 interface and plug in an X10 Maxi Controller in the same outlet, I can control the UM506 interface from the Maxi Controller. What am I missing?

Hi Ronnie,

Can you control other devices with the TI103? You may not have all of its dip switch settings correct. See http://www.act-remote.com/PCC/PCCInst/ti103_instr.pdf.

I figured it out

I set up the UM506 as a device in HS3 and was trying to trigger that device which did not work. Instead I made an event that is manually triggered and set it for E13 on. When I want to trigger the UM506 I run the my event which sounds the UM506 device.
