      Still available?

Is this still available for download? I searched around and couldn't find it. I would really like to give this tool a try rather than rebuild my events; got my devices rebuilt with just a few that need to be deleted and re-created...z-wave devices.

I don't use them all but I have over 400 events in my old HS2Pro setup, and don't want to have to rebuild all the ones I still use.

yes, click on my banner below....

however, it is not used to copy/devices events from HS2 to HS3, but allow HS2-HS3 interoperability.

          Hello Jon,
The HS2 to HS3 connector was very good working until now:
          I have upgraded HS3 from .130 to .143. .
Since then I get the following log error message:

Dez-09 20:28:55 Error A call was made to save a global variable (Jon00GW) but there are none defined in the system.

          Where is the issue ?

          Regards,
          Fischi

Hi Jon. Is it possible for your connector to be expanded to also allow HS3 to HS3 connections?

              Jon,

I've read in your documentation that i'ts required to update the .dll files
              in the HS3 folder.
I have done this and all is running OK again.

              Thanks,
              Fischi

Wow, OK great. I might be guilty of not always reading the manual.

You can also link HS2 to HS2

                      Hi Jon,

I seem to have the same problem as Daarn a couple of pages back. I can Mirror devices from HS2 to HS3 fine, but i can't execute an event, hslog or direct control a device in HS2 from HS3.

I tried adding "Event XXXX" and "HSLog Hello World" in global variables directly like you suggested but nothing triggers in HS2.

HS2 and HS3 are on the same machine. HS2 webserver port is 82 and HS3 is 83 if that makes any difference as i noticed direct control is via webserver.

                      Thanks,

                      Rob

yes, i can. I hadn't set up any devices on HS3 so tried it just now. Then i tried executing an event on HS2 from HS3 just in case and it worked!!!

All sorted. Thanks Jon, this is a big time saver for me.

                            HS3 to HS3 connection

                            Hi Jon,

I need to connect two HS3 installs...I got everything installed but it doesn't look like it's creating devices in the respective HS3's. It gets a little confusing because everything is referencing HS2 on one end and HS3 on the other and it's not clear how to do HS3 to HS3. I just created a dummy device L1 on client 2 and it did not replicate. I'm not getting any errors in log. and the program starts fine. Any ideas?

Try deleting the clientno entries in both files and then restart both clients. The rest looks OK.

It still doesn't seem to work. Here's the files after changes. There are no errors in log.
