Aeotec Multisensor 6 Gen 5 Sensitivity Levels

I just installed an Aeotec Multisensor 6 Gen 5. I need to reduce the sensitivity of the motion sensor. According to the manual it says:

"Parameter 4 (1 byte decimal) can be configured through your gateway in case the default settings of your Multisensor are not what you desire. For example, this parameter setting is initially set to 5 which is the maximum sensitivity level. If you set it to 1, the sensitivity will be minimum sensitivity. If set it to 0, the motion sensor will be disabled."

Anyone have any ideas how I so this with this unit?

    Sure would appreciate some help.

    Thanks

    Hi Chuck,

You can change parameters under Settings in the Z-Wave tab of the sensor's root device (go to the device management page and click on the hyperlink for the root device). If you select parameter 4, then leave the value field blank, and click on set, it'll retrieve the existing parameter value so you can confirm what it was set to.

    Cheers

Al, thanks for your reply. It helped and I have it set to 3. We will see if that is too much of a reduction or whether I need reduce it a little more.

      Best regards
