    USBUIRT on Clients

    I am new to homeseer and have been searching but havent found anything yet. What I would like to do is run a SECOND usbuirt ON A client computer. I'm not sure if this is possible or not and how would I go about setting it up. on these computers I have the speaker client installed as well as stipus script connector client. Please let me know if this is possible. I know that I can accomplish this with Global cache stuff but the hardware is already installed from a previous application so I wouldn't need to add new hardware. Please let me know what you think

    Not with the existing plugin for it at least, that only supports one device. You might be able to write your own interface for the unit by script (I've never tried) but that's neither quick nor particularly easy.

      Have a look at Girder - I believe the USBUIRT is supported on this and there seems to be a HS plugin for Girder as well.

        If I am looking into ir in multiple locations do you guys think id be better off going with global cache hardware and if so what would I need for TV it control in 5 locations there are cat5 leads running to each location
