We stood in the garage watching the storm for a bit (not recommended) and wondered how fast the wind was blowing as the two trees in front of the house literally were bending down touching the ground. The Davis Vantage Vue weather station recorded 71 MPH with one burst of 121 MPH before losing power. The neighbor had a tree uproot and end up inside of his pool. Went to watching the deck after power went out; patio furniture didn't move. The stainless steel grill though got knocked down and yank out the natural gas line and we watched as one "tree" pot on the deck was lifted into the air for a bit of time.

Not a bad price on the camera.
Are you using thier software at all?
              Looks interesting.

I also like how you set up that weather page.
I tried to do something similar a while back but I was never able to get the radar gif to refresh animation properly and kind of walked away from it settling for a refreshed jpg instead.

We are hot as balls down here in fla right now!!!

Illinois; 100 plus today. Their software is very similiar to Zoneminder only its for the Ubiquito Aircams.

I build the page in little pieces using mostly Jon's utilities. Then when completed it builds the main camera page every 5 minutes or so. No animation in the pictures. It turns it into a composite JPG.

The Ubiquito Aircam has no electronic shutter features and no IR illumination so the night view is just that.

The camera though did sustain 70 plus MPH winds and is still working.

The generic "weatherproof" camera lost its IR illumination from it getting wet inside. This is the second time its gotten wet inside. Personally this makes it not a candidate any more for an outdoor camera. I'm taking it down today to check it out some more.

I am still waiting on the newer low cost version POE outdoor MP camera which I am guessing will do better.

                          New endeavor this morning.

Need to remove tree stump and root. Initially was going to utilize a stump grinder but that will not help me much. Looked at the other ways to remove the stump and they are weeks long.

That said its going to be a manual effort stump/root removal in the next few days.

Meanwhile looking for a replacement tree. 4-6" diameter trunk.
