Why in the world was a decimal place added to the light switch dim values? They weren't there before and they serve absolutely no purpose. The switches report integers. So now instead of 40 I have 40.0 on my screen making it harder to read. And, they no longer fit into some of my text boxes. I can't imagine that a dim value of 40.0 vs 40.1 would be meaningful to anyone anyway. I'm sure I can't tell the difference. What's the point of this? Is there a way to turn it off?
I'm now also seeing the same thing in my thermostat setpoints.
I think this actually started with 1.0.51 which I installed earlier today.
I know I could go back into all of my dim value elements and change them from using the status value to using the status string. I could then go into each device and eliminate the prefixes and suffixes from the status strings to get back to the reporting value I want. But then I lose the prefix and suffix from the HS Device Management screen where I want them to remain.
Why was this change made?
