I temporarily removed a Midon Design temp and humidity sensor from my Temp08 based 1-wire network (assigned R1) and now MCS Temp reads my second sensor (assigned R2) as R1 and my third sensor (assigned R3) as R2. Each sensor has a unique serial ID. Does MCS Temp not recognized the unique sensor ID - which is recognized in the setup screen - when it reads the sensor data?
Can you make it do that so temporary removal of a sensor that isn't the last one in the chain is recognized properly?
Oddly, the TEMP08 probably kept the temp sensor in memory but not the humidity sensor, so MCS Temp sees "???" for the temp and does not lose that sensor. I will report this to the TEMP08 group but think it would be better if the s/w would recognize the uniqueness of the sensor ID rather than "sensor #" coming from the h/w...
