What does it mean ? "Instant Status"

I noticed a difference between the Intermatic and HomePro switches.

On the homeseer store site it states for the HomePro switches:

"supports instant status through HomeSeer"
whereas the Intermatic switches advertised don't have that feature?

You can tell the switch to report its status directly to HomeSeer when the switch is turned ON or OFF. This is called "Association". The newer ACT switches support this, but Intermatic does not. For the Intermatic switches, you would need to set HS to poll the switch to get its status. See the sticky post at the top of this forum for more information.
