    Calling HSTouch via URL

Can someone from HS answer this?

To be able to called with a URL, an App must register the name under which it can be called. It doesn't need to be the Appname though (i.e. its "iviewer" for Commandfusion or "girahshd" for the Gira App.

Has HS provided a URL for starting the HSTouch and HSTouchPad? If so, what is it? If not, can we get it added in an upcoming version (about 10 mins work). Would be nice if you call it with a screen name: e.g. HSTouch://Home or HSTouch://Lighting. The app should have same name for HSTouch and HSToouchPad so you can use the same call on phone or tablet

    Thanks

    Mark

Second that request. This would also allow return from something like SonoPad.

You can make the modification yourself to give HST a URL scheme, but you need to jailbreak your ipad now, while there is a window of opportunity to do so. If there is enough interest, then maybe I can make a write up of the process. A bit busy lately. ..

Here is how to do it:

I have no idea why HS did not embed it.

HST *really* needs to implement this. If there were a URL scheme to also navigate to specific pages, I'd be all over HSTouch. Notification on your smart watch? Click to go to the hstouch control page. Notification via SMS, email, push notification, etc.? Go right to HSTouch. Would be great. oh, and easy for HST to implement.

Nice, did you put this in as feature request on bugzilla?
